Attending Wilston State School from 2003 to 2009 was a formative experience that laid the foundation for both my personal and creative growth. The supportive environment, along with the inspiring people I encountered, played a pivotal role in shaping my aspirations and values. When I first enrolled in the Creative Industries (Media) Certificate II program at Kelvin Grove State College (2010–2011), I wasn’t entirely certain it was the right path for me. However, everything changed once I immersed myself in the hands-on projects. Exploring the worlds of graphic design, web design, and video editing quickly ignited a passion I hadn’t expected. These creative disciplines captivated me from the start, transforming my initial doubts into a genuine love for design and laying the foundation for my future endeavors in the creative industry.

Volunteering - Grange Thistle Soccer Club (2016 - Present)

I eagerly took on the role of manager for an incredible soccer club, where I contributed to both creative projects and key managerial tasks. My responsibilities included managing and updating the club’s website on WiX, optimizing it for better search engine visibility. I also created engaging content for the club’s Facebook and Instagram pages, helping to build strong connections within the community. In addition, I supported club members by addressing their questions and providing helpful guidance. I was actively involved in planning and coordinating community events like BBQs, photo days, and presentation nights. On game days and during training sessions, I efficiently organized and managed my team, ensuring everything ran smoothly while fostering a positive, supportive environment.

As an Ecommerce Coordinator, I've been pivotal in driving business growth and enhancing operational efficiency. My role involved using Maropost Commerce Cloud for a more efficient business front end, integrating MYOB Exo and its CRM for better synergy, and applying AI for optimized functions and workflows. I also upgraded old systems to boost global ROI, utilized Adobe Creative Cloud for engaging content, and managed Microsoft 365 ecosystems. My responsibilities included implementing digital advertising and social media best practices, using Asana for project management, providing top-notch customer support, and conducting product design and user testing. I led impactful EDM campaigns for B2B and B2C markets, automated warehouse and shipping, and used analytics for continuous improvement. Learning how to analyze eommerce performance through data and key metrics was especially valuable, as it showed how to continuously refine marketing efforts. This course sharpened my skills in creating data-driven strategies that boost growth and enhance customer engagement in competitive digital markets.

Artificial intelligence is transforming the way we live and work, and the Introduction to Artificial Intelligence course by IBM gave me a deeper understanding of how it all comes together. Rather than just focusing on theory, the course broke down how AI solves real-world problems, whether it’s through advanced problem-solving techniques, decision-making processes powered by reasoning, or machines learning and improving from data. I explored how AI interprets sensory information (like images and sounds) and even understands human language through natural language processing. Seeing these concepts applied in fields like robotics and computer vision really showcased AI's versatility. This experience gave me both a solid technical foundation and a fresh perspective on how AI can drive innovation in various industries.

In today’s competitive digital landscape, understanding how to create effective ad campaigns is essential. The Digital Advertising course from Semrush equipped me with the fundamentals needed to navigate this space confidently. I explored a variety of advertising channels, including search, social media, display networks, programmatic buying, and video ads, learning how to tailor strategies for each.
